!In any case, but depends on the difficulty of the case which is always determined by the dentist.

?Katalin, Békéscsaba:How can the removable aligner be cleaned?

!This is very simple. With your toothbrush clean the surface of the removable aligner thoroughly and then flush it with cold water.

?János, Pécs:How often do I need to consult with the dentist?

!Your dentist will schedule the frequency of the meetings, usually it is once in every 4-6 weeks. Its aim is to make sure the treatment follows the prognosed process.

?Tamara, Budapest:What is the influence of the aligner to the speech?

!Like other orthodontics treatment, HappySmile influences temporarily the speech for one-two days in the beginning. As your tongue gets used to the aligners, all of these strange feelings disappear.

?Kinga, Budapest:How many hours per day do I need to wear the removable aligners of the orthodontics system?

!The HappySmile system is the most efficient with 20-22 hours of wear, so it is advised only to take it out in case of eating, teeth brushing or when using dental floss.

?Éva, Eger:What is the period of changing the removable aligners for new ones?

!You need to use one aligner for 2 weeks, after this, the patient gets a new one. If the actual aligner is lost or damaged, we can make it up with the help of the 3d sample.

?Nóra, Székesfehérvár:How much does the treatment hurt?

!During the treatment we move the ossified teeth into the desired positions, so naturally it can hurt. Although the HappySmile system with its 2 weeks intervals of changing the aligners may have rather soft pressure, so the amount of pain is much less with this treatment than with the traditional methods. Our body can get used to the new aligners in 1-2 days and after that there is not any pain.

?Renáta, Ózd:Do the aligners scratch, or discolor?

!As all the aligners are changed in every 2 weeks, they do not really have enough time to be discolored in such a short time. As this is a special biocompatible medical plastic material, it resists all external environmental effects. We recommend the removal of the aligners in case of eating or before drinking colored beverages as between the aligners and the teeth, the remainders of the food is not aesthetic and it may cause the decay of the teeth.

?Anita, Győr:Is the wear of the HappySmile aligners painful?

!The wear of the aligners, at the beginning may cause minor inconvenience, this is a normal phenomenon, as the movement of the denture to their desired positions stimulates the feeling of the pressure. This is the sign that the HappySmile system is effective. The inconvenient feeling disappears after the first few days.

?Tamás, Budapest:How long does the treatment last?

!Every denture defers from each other, just like their treatment. It is very hard to name a typical treatment value, but perhaps the average treatment is 10 aligners. As an aligner is to be worn for 2 weeks, it is easy to calculate that the lengths of an average treatment is about 20 weeks, so about 5 months.

?Erzsébet, Balmazújváros:Is it true that it is much more expensive than a traditional treatment?

!If we compare the price of the HappySmile system with the price of a traditional treatment, we can say, taking all expenses into consideration, that they cost approximately the same. If we compare it with the latest, new (glossal, etc,) appliances, it is even cheaper. It is very important to mention that you do not need to pay the HappySmile treatment in full, it is enough to pay the aligners after getting them from your dentist. In other words, if you wish to get your aligners once a month then you only need to pay the actual aligners!

?András, Székesfehérvár:Can the alcohol dissolve any components of the aligners?

!The aligners are made of biocompatible medical plastic, the alcohol cannot dissolve any harmful components of them. But it is more comfortable if we remove them in case we would like to drink some alcohol, and put them back after brushing your teeth!

?Csanád, Budapest:What is so expensive in these small plastic aligners?

!HappySmile system uses the highest quality and latest technology which can be found recently: 3D scanner, denture design software, high quality biocompatible medical plastic, etc. These can be compared with the prices of the materials of the traditional plastic braces or the wires. By comparison, its price is not higher than the price of the traditional appliances.

?Bence, Vác:I need to talk a lot during my work. Will the aligner disturb me in doing that?

!While beginning to wear the first aligner, you will feel that it is very disturbing, as this feeling is going to be very unusual first. We usually recommend to read an article or poem aloud and you are going to get used to it within some hours. After some days you are going to feel that you are lisping, but your audience will feel nothing about this.

?Evelin, Sződ:How can these small, slim aligners move the teeth?

!These aligners can, due to the CAD-CAM technology, move the teeth with high accuracy (20 micron accuracy). Due to the change of the aligners in every two weeks, they can perform their tasks very softly, so there is no significant pain during the process of the treatment. You may think of course that the manufacturer should praise the product, but you should be aware the fact that this system is applied by all around the world, and only in the USA more than 3 million of patients were treated by similar systems.
